About the event
As you may have heard, the tour of Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant is back on for the fall meeting of AzAAPT. I am really excited about the tour. I hear you get a free fuel rod with every visit – but you can’t always believe everything you hear.
We were planning on a joint meeting with STEMteachersPHX so the tour works out perfectly. This will be a great opportunity to meet with some of the great folks at STEMPhx.
We will meet at the Energy Education Center for our continental breakfast and registration then car pool to the plant. We will return to the EEC after the tour for lunch and a presentation.
Costs: $7.50 for AzAAPT members, $15 for non-members Optional Lunch: $9
