STEMteachersPHX is hosting an Earth Science Saturday Session on the Saturday before Earth Day! Join us for activities you can take back to your classroom and use with your students. Our sessions are designed to make your busy life as a teacher easier!
Maricopa County Air Quality Department with Jenny Franks
Grades 6-12: This investigation will be taken from the Kids Making Sense curriculum. Participants will learn about particle pollution in the air and use the Engineering design process to create a particle pollution collector using inexpensive, readily available materials. Grades 3-5: This investigation is taken from Up in the Air, Maricopa County’s air pollution education program.
