Congratulations on surviving your strangest year of teaching! Join us for a celebratory Virtual Happy Hour June 3, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Bring your favorite beverage and let us know how the STEMteachersPHX community can support you and your classroom next year.

Teachers are considering how they can teach experimental design, inquiry, data collection, and other topics normally taught in STEM related disciplines in a remote way. STEMteachersPHX will share some resources for teaching remotely and assess the needs of teachers who will be adapting their classrooms.  We will work together to identify potential innovative substitutes for disciplines typically requiring inquiry-based, hands-on learning. We will raise a discussion on potential equity & assessment issues associated with this emergent learning strategy.

We expect that the time shared in small group discussions will be especially helpful to generate a list of crowd-sourced and interesting resources. This will be the first of many…
